The Self knows neither life nor death. When Self‑insight awakens, we realize that life and death are merely appearances within a dream, and that only the Self truly exists. We are never separate from the Self. For an enlightened person, it does not feel as if he lives or dies, but simply abides in the Self: motionless, formless, beyond time and space. In truth, no one dies and no one is born; only the Self remains, in which all forms appear and disappear like waves on a timeless ocean.
